If it is the Thunderbolt Display, it's possible that there's something wrong with the computer when it's outputting the Displayport signal, although that's unusual seeing that the MDP->VGA adapter works. You might as well get an active one as it's only a few dollars more and it will work with higher resolution monitors if you need to do so in the future. If it is the Cinema Display, you need to try a different MDP-HDMI adapter. So check the System Preferences -> Display. Either of the later Cinema Displays or the Thunderbolt Display will connect to the same port on the MBP, but the signal they use is different. If you connected to an Apple Thunderbolt Display - that uses a Thunderbolt signal from your computer, which is not the same as the signal used when connected to an Apple Cinema Display. So this is important - if it is an Apple Cinema Display, it would have be the one with the MiniDisplayport input, in which case, your computer is fine and it's outputting the correct signal, it's likely the MiniDisplayport-to-HDMI adapter that's the issue. Looking for a cool screensaver for your Ubuntu system? One that also serves some purpose - not just those beautiful scenery types? How about one that shows current time? Specifically, I am talking about the flip clock screensaver shown below: I can think of several examples of free software coded on Forums ( that have been cracked and passwords removed etc ) that are currently for sale for thousands of dollars by unscrupulous Forex/Binary websites. No thought goes into the huge amount of skill experience and time that goes into programming the indicators/ea's/scripts etc it all comes down to making a quick dollar out of someone else's hard work and knowledge. There are a few coders on this forum who make design and code trading tools to sell and I have seen many examples of people who find nothing wrong in cracking the ex4 ( you only have to go onto eBay to see many examples of this ) and next thing you know that piece of software is for sell on some obscure website. |
